Press Release - Jim Bryson Announces Early Vote Express

Campaign will barnstorm the state in the days leading up to the election

State Senator and GOP Nominee for Governor Jim Bryson today announced the Early Vote Express, the second Big Bryson Bus Tour of the campaign. The tour will kick-off October 23 in Rhea County and visit 27 counties during the early voting period.

"In the course of this campaign, I have visited county after county where people have told me they have not seen Phil Bredesen in four years," said Sen. Bryson. "Early voting is the perfect time to travel the state sharing my vision for Tennessee as a state with the toughest illegal immigration laws in the country; low taxes and a Governor who carries a big stick to clean up government corruption."

"In the past four years we've seen mismanagement of illegal immigration, education, and TennCare. We've seen illegal immigrants pour into our state, our high school graduation ranking plunge from 30th to 45th, and the terminally ill kicked off TennCare. We've seen a corrupt administration embarrass Tennesseans again and again. I know we can do better. Tennessee can do better."

The first three days of the tour will include stops in the following counties: Carter, Cocke, Greene, Hamblen, Hamilton, Jefferson, Johnson, Knox, Rhea, Sullivan and Washington.
